at Server.handleRequest (/var/task/node_modules/remix/dist/server/index.js:194:20)
at Runtime.handler (/var/task/index.js:5:22)Root Cause Analysis
The error occurs due to the incompatibility of Remix's server-side rendering with AWS Lambda's stateless and serverless architecture. By default, Remix uses a dynamic server to handle requests, which is not suitable for AWS Lambda's event-driven model. This incompatibility causes the 'dynamic-server-usage' error when deploying Remix applications on AWS Lambda.
● Configuration & Code Resolution
To resolve the issue, update the `remix.config.js` file to use a static server instead of a dynamic one. Add the following configuration:
--- a/remix.config.js
+++ b/remix.config.js
